Getting a CDL in South Carolina
In South Carolina, a commercial driver license is mandatory for individuals who drive vehicles intended for the transportation of passengers or goods. You must be a minimum of 18 years old for intrastate driving (within South Carolina) and 21 years old for interstate commerce or hazardous material endorsement. It is also required that applicants hold a valid South Carolina driver license prior to applying. Additional details can be accessed on the South Carolina DMV website.

With our class A CDL program we only train on manual trucks ensuring you will never be limited by the restrictions of an automatic transmission only on your CDL. Many local employers cannot hire applicants with an automatic restriction due to the company’s equipment having a manual transmission.
